Nillion announced the closing of a $25 million funding round. The round was led by Hack VC, with participation from other venture capitalists (“VCs”) and angel investors, bringing the total amount raised by Nillion across all rounds to over $50 million.

Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on X that cryptocurrency investor Canary Capital has filed a SOL ETF application with the U.S. SEC, the third cryptocurrency ETF application filed by the company this month. Canary has now filed for the SOL ETF, LTC ETF, XRP ETF, and launched the HBAR Trust.

The financial markets are facing huge changes, and I believe that this has also had an impact on society. The latest figures we have from the World Bank are that 1.7 billion adults are unbanked. Imagine the social costs associated with that. So I'm not saying that blockchain by itself can solve this problem, but it can be an effective solution to the problem and bring that back into the discussion with regulators and other public stakeholders
