gm what are you doing today to onboard a non-crypto friend to Farcaster? what’s missing that you would need to get them to stick around?

Enjoying the vibe over in /lounge and the prompt from @cameron > How did you discover Farcaster? I was in Venice working on /bright-moments @weisser stopped by the gallery and mentioned a new crypto startup that was just down the street. I showed up and never left.

I've said it before & I'll say it again: the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses are the most underrated tech product of the last decade. They are cheap, useful, and the roadmap to building a $1B wearables business is clear & very possible for a company of Meta's scale. Huge opportunity that is not being talked about enough.

one of the most important skills to learn when building products is the ability to onboard when there are clear deficiencies and keep the process smooth and flowing despite a scathing internal monologue

My hunt for useful onchain privacy solutions continues. I was disappointed to see that Nocturne shutdown before properly launching. I recently tested Railgun and, while clunky, it seems to be a promising approach for privacy preserving transactions on ETH mainnet. https://www.railgun.org/

I love the design of the checkout experience for Daylight. Informative and helps to signal scarcity without being overly FOMO-inducing. Feels honest.

One reason I'm skeptical of dashboards: here is the /books channel over the last 90 days On paper things look great; it is growing up and to the right. Qualitatively, I know many of these posts are low quality or outright fake. Identifying and filtering protocol level spam is ~the~ challenge for clients to solve.
