🌶️ The trend of "Put a memecoin on whatever might capture hyper-momentary attention" (eg, CZ's dog)... ^ This ain't it. All love for people making profits off the fun, but I don't believe this level of Attention Overload is actually manageable by human bodies over an extended period of time. It has to give.

Someone transcribing the comments from one of my recent reading groups made me realize that some of the things I say are unintentionally rather theatrical. (We've been doing Aristotle's Poetics)

I majored in Economics, and can say that fw Robin Hanson hits way different when it's for the sake of a product you're putting into people's hands. Learn by doing, as much as possible.

Unlike baseball, there is no DL for startup founders. You just gotta keep going, and seek out little moments to heal whatever happens to your body from using a screens and keyboards way, way more than you should. [send me your favorite tiny violin meme]

A Farcaster Founding story. 13 months ago (Jan 12, 2024), we recruited our first Bracket Testnet players for this new, experimental sports game. We attracted casters by sponsoring $25 /channels of NFL teams. These super fans collected other fans to their channels, the group of whom became critical mass for Bracket games. *ff 12 months* A striking % of those very first users – recruited in this manual way, which already seems antiquated – have grown into some of the most core parts of our community. @purp and @cojo.eth spearheaded funding 10M $degen prize. @itai and dynamic power our bracket wallets. @redbeard and @nickmorgan got us huge support at Coinbase. @javabu.eth won our first brackets and is a big onboarder. @qt and @garrett invested / advise. *ff to today* Our NFL bracket was run *entirely* on FC (frames!), powered by the native token of our AI agent @bracky, with 13K TxnUsers. @leohenkels dropped his $bracky winnings to that /eagles channel we created back in Testnet. Awesome place.
