Today is Day One at my new job – the first time I’ve had full-time employment in 22 months. This past chapter was a mix of contracting, freelancing, bootstrapping, tinkering, advising, and general exploring. It is true that not all who wander are lost, but at many times throughout this period, I felt that way. After being laid off in June 2023, just six months into my job, I needed a break from corporate life and felt destined to explore more independent paths. The past two years have been stimulating yet professionally isolating, full of possibilities but devoid of structure. I’m excited about the new constraints I’ve chosen for myself.

Was sick for much of last week so didn’t exercise much but picked up a reading habit :) I also didn’t work last week and it seems like I’ve tied meditation to “starting the day” 🧐 Interested to see what happens this week now that I’m back home and starting a new job!
