I do! 16:8 daily. My feeding time is 1-9PM but often do not eat past 7PM. I love it.

Been doing it for 5+ years. Only water and black coffee in the morning. Usually something high fibre with fruit for lunch. Whatever I want for dinner. If I have family visiting or a big event, I eat smaller portions at breakfast and try to skip lunch instead. Occasionally I compromise it all because life’s short.

Tangential question, but do you use any apps to track your fasts?

For the last 15 years, 2 meals/day: lunch & dinner. BUT one size does not fit all, depends on your type (Ayurvedic doshas: Kapha, Pitta, Vata). This "novel idea" of intermittent fasting is a lousy western appropriation of Asian knowledge. It's the base of Ayurveda, the 5000 yrs medical system from India (check it out)

i try to keep on a 16hr cycle, yes i'd push dates to be later if need be; imo not worth breaking a habit for someone I don't really know, and if we were already dating I think they'd understand did the same for friends, work events, birthdays etc.

I couldn’t be a purist about it. It was a great plan 85% of the time but if I had to give a presentation or something at 10:45 I was going to eat. Also I couldn’t do it if I was going to be doing very rigorous exercise, I needed something. Running or lifting were fine, BJJ I needed a banana at least.

I normally eat around noon and 5. If I have an event that makes me eat later I don’t adjust I just start over the next day

I eat 11-7. If I break it I try to limit how much I eat outside hours and start over as normal the next day. I prob break it in a small way once a week and it doesn’t seem to impact how I feel much.

12-8pm window where I can eat, very easy to manage. Feeling hunger at least once a day is good imo

i usually eat once a day, but sometimes go into 4 hour window or even 8 hour window when my fasting breaks (e.g. have to eat earlier/later), i just roll with it (but don't overdo it, because i feel physically crappy when i eat outside my window) next day is eating as usual

Used to do 12-16 hours religiously but don’t think it’s conducive to building strength (in my experience). In your example I usually eat a bit later or only have liquids in the AM (coffee/soup)

Been IF for 5 years. - No breakfast. - Protein shake for lunch. - Snack at 4pm. - Dinner at 6:30pm. On weekends I'll eat a more substantial lunch (and normal dinner). Never going back to breakfast again.

Same as @warpcastadmin.eth I try not to be too much of a perfectionist about it - every days a new day
