With TikTok facing a ban, Twitch and YouTube taking massive cuts, and censorship and demonetization on the rise, it seems like a ticking time bomb until creators figure out web3 and make the jump. The shift will happen slowly, then suddenly, and it will change the game for them and their billions of followers

web3 and AI will violently disintermediate the middlemen that became ubiquitous with Web 2.0 (think gig economy, aggregation platforms, search engines). Insane value will be unlocked and redistributed.

Sitting by my fireplace and having this crazy idea: an AI that would tell you the type of wood, shape of logs, where to place them, how to set the vents, etc, in order to optimize (choose whichever applies): heat generation, length of combustion, amount of wood, cinematics...

How excited we were in 1995-2000 that internet would bypass the gatekeepers & bring more freedom, transparency, untamed comms & transactions We ended up with 5 platforms and 5 streamers holding an unprecedented centralized power and control. web3, don't fuck it up 🙏🏻
