Here is my first part of the tier list! Meat tier list based on nutritional values and my opinion. I picked meat most commonly eaten. (If my data is outdated or I need to give more explanation, please say so)

Here start the explanation of these picks: 1. Chicken breast: Very high protein, very little fat (good for weight cutting) great source of B vitamin (3, 6) Very easy to make, very versatile. No wonder so many athletes eat this on the regular.

2. Egg: Relatively low in protein, decently fatty. Very nutritious, only lacks vitamin C. Great source of selenium, creatine. Amazing source of vitamin A, Vitamin B (2,5), Vitamin E. Lower in protein but contains the best amino acid levels for your body to absorb. Once again easy to make and very versatile.

3. Salmon: Alright in protein, decently fatty. Amazing source of Omega 3 and vitamin D. Great source of creatine, selenium and vitamin B12. Amazing brain food. Tastes amazing in my opinion and the superior fish meat.

4. Turkey breast: Very high in protein and very lean. Also amazing for weight cutting or gaining lean muscle mass. Good source of selenium, vitamin B3&6, carnosine and choline. Nutritional wise this might rank above the chicken breast IMO.

5. Crab: Decent in protein, very low fat. Great source of vitamine B12, selenium, zinc, copper and a good source of omega 3. Often not considered in people’s diet. Very nutritional and tastes good.

6. Liver (cows): High in protein, lower in fat. Good source of iron, phosphorus, B vitamins(2,3,5,6) great source of vitamin B12, Vitamin A, copper, folate, choline. (Watch out for too much vitamin A or copper) Once again often not considered in diets but is a super food in my opinion.

7. Steak: High in protein, higher in fat (depending on which part you eat) Good source of selenium, zinc and B vitamins. High in creatine, choline and carnosine. (Still red meat, might increase risk of cancer) Tastes so good definitely one of my favs.

8. Canned tuna: High in protein, very lean. Amazing source of selenium and vitamin D. Great source of omega 3, creatine and B3&12 vitamin. (Higher in sodium and mercury, bad if consume too much) Had to make a separate number for the canned tuna and wild tuna.

9. Wild tuna: decent protein, very low fat. Good source of B3&6, selenium, vitamin D, omega 3 and creatine. Contains more mercury than it’s canned counterpart.

10. Chicken thigh: High in protein, decently fatty. Relatively high in zinc, selenium and vitamin B3. Less protein and more fat compared to chicken breast therefor less good for weight cutting but still an amazing nutritiously dense food.

11. Shrimps: Super lean, decent in protein. Good source of Omega 3 but less compared to salmon. Tastes good but not the best option.

12. Ground beef: high in protein, decently fatty. Good source of zinc, iron,creatine and B vitamins (2,3,5,6,12) Still red meat, might lead to increased cancer risk. Very versatile, I love it.

Cod: Decent in protein, very low in fat. Great source of selenium and creatine. Less mercury levels compared to other fish, but also less protein and omega 3. Tastes less good and less nutrient rich compared to salmon, inferior fish 😹

14. Lamb: decent in protein, higher in fat. Good source of vitamin B12, selenium and creatine. Don’t eat it often, beter alternatives but still good.

17. Ham: Okay in protein, decently fatty. High in selenium, vitamin B1, manganese, carnosine. High in sodium (increase risk of cancer and high blood pressure)

18. Bacon : dehydrated, therefor nutritionally dense. Very high in protein and saturated fat. Great source of selenium, phosphorus, oleic acid. High in sodium (could increase risk of cancer and high blood pressure) does taste amazing though! Overall allright but less healthy.
