It was fantastic! I’ve camped before but this was my first time portaging.

We accidentally reserved wooden canoes so they were quite heavy, and there was a substantial amount of bugs, but other than that the views were beautiful, we had the whole lake to ourselves, and we saw tons of animals (incl beavers!)

Wow! This is something that I’ve long wanted to do! How was the experience? I’d love to hear more 🤩
