Grateful 🍂 I host Friendsgiving on the Friday after Thanksgiving, so Thursday is the day to check off every prep task on my to-do list. Woke up early and started baking the shortbread cookies I prepped last night while sipping coffee and listening to the sound of rain. November 🍁 November is quiet and busy. Falling leaves and frosty mornings. Morning reflections ☕️ Do you feel more creative in the morning or at night? Lately for me afternoons and evenings are for creative output. I feel most high-energy and use this time for the majority of my plot and dialogue writing. Mornings are more quiet and reflective, a time for blue sky ideas and hobbies (like editing videos).

Vlog: A road trip to the White Mountains ⛰️ Started autumn with a road trip on the Kancamagus Highway 🍂 If you are hoping to visit this area in autumn, here are some tips from a local ☺️ 🍁 October is a wonderful time for this road trip. The leaves are changing color and the weather is still relatively mild. 🧦 Bring warm layers. The temperature is variable in the mountains. Always pack more than you think you’ll need. In September, I packed a jacket and fleece hat and ended up using both of them. ⛰️ Take time to savor the views. This trip is all about the journey (vs the destination). 🚗 Be prepared. My advice for ALL road trips. Bring water, snacks, and a roadside emergency kit. Always happy to answer any questions about this road trip too! 💜

Vlog: Pinnacles National Park 🍂 I have a goal of visiting all 63 US National Parks :) So far, I’ve visited 47 🏔️ I visited most of these parks while working remotely at my corporate job - an experience that became the premise of my novel <3 I’ve been making vlogs for close family and friends to document these roadtrips for years. They are so much a part of who I am, and recently I wanted to expand my comfort zone and start sharing them here. Vlog: A Roadtrip to the Southcoast of Maine 🌊🌻🦞🍦🌅 Ended the summer with a roadtrip to Kennebunkport and Portland, Maine. Visited The Clam Shack for the first time, window shopped in Kennebunkport, and walked around the Portland Head Light at golden hour. Maine holds a very special place in my heart and this trip was a really nice goodbye to summer ☀️
