Uruguay not only has the highest GDP/capita in South America, curiously it also has the highest gun ownership / capita by a factor of 2x this is about the same as Canada, which is 4x less than the US https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estimated_number_of_civilian_guns_per_capita_by_country

what does remote work do to the Marchetti constant? it changes transportation to the speed of light and makes the new "city" boundary similar timezones this increases the attractiveness of smaller cities, especially for older more established workers and workers with families h/t Tomas Pueyo

is GDP/capita in the hypergrowth phase of an S curve? this looks just like a hypergrowth startup not easy to see slowdown coming when in growth mode, but you have to know it's there. trees don't grow to the sky the only way to keep going is to add more S curves what might they be?
