ottawa greenpill is participating in OperationWebTree (a global reforestation campaign powered by crypto) and today we started delivering some of our 160 white pine seedlings to our 8+ community partners who are going to help plant them around the ottawa-gatineau region 🌱

I’ve been running my own business + side projects for over 8 years. I ensure that my weekends are off to help me unplug + recharge It can feel counterintuitive especially when you have a long to do list to take time off, but sprints of work with active rest periods improves not only my work, but my quality of life

friends if you aren’t using a ledger for your crypto, creating a multisig with at least 2/3 signers is a smart move. If your partner is in crypto this is also a great security step. Ledgers are best, but I understand the headache they can be, so a multi sig is a good middle ground

when I was in high school I had 2 friends pass away - one in a car accident and another from cancer this solidified while I was young, that no one is guaranteed any amount of time here it’s one of the reasons I don’t push off doing things that I love. I give myself permission to experiment + pursue my curiosity

went to make my first ‘shortlist’ of who to donate to in the @gitcoin community climate round… already at 20 projects with many more to be added going through all the projects is so motivating - lots of people using blockchian to create climate solutions both locally + globally 🌱

one of the reasons I love working in a this ecosystem is that everyone ‘does something else’ side projects, art, weekend builds, governance, writing, hacking, even airdrop hunting is a side hustle that helps you learn about what is going on it’s awesome being surrounded by so many people who are multifaceted
