i love collecting things and memories, have a full shelf worth of small things in my parents house being able to collect things without the physical/storage cost is dope, this is why i mint everything even right now i look at poaps from 2021 and i think "wow this was fun time huh"

I broadly agree. I mint it cuz it's fun and there's a chance I may look back and fondly remember eg the Base launch, but this isn't an extremely compelling reason to me

I do it mainly for my future self. I like to collect random commemorative things and every so often I look back and chuckle. Like way back in the 2000s I used to take screenshots of the Google logo when they changed it for special occasions and I found it like 10 years later…oh the nostalgia of early internet 😂

i love archiving for the memories and to celebrate really it's the ultimate hipster tool: "yeah, i was there in 2017 – you can check onchain, here's the transaction" it's already fun to look back at old ones and remember how it was then i'm surprised you feel this way given you made metagame

I’ve minted everything 🔵and created something too. There are moments I want to mark & remember. And most of the time I just really like the art. Yes, some of us really are here for the art! It's a timestamp memory of the beginning of something new. I like to support the creators I believe in. Mint on Base 🔵 will generate revenue to Optimism 🔴 that will go towards funding public good. I want to support them. Transactions cost at very low compared to mainnet
