do you buy merch at concerts? similar kinda thing imo

i think it's as simple as you don't resonate at that level with any of the creators or brands that are minting.

maybe there's a subset of creators or brands where you wouldn't think twice, they just haven't minted yet

that makes sense to me. i think that similarly means that there just aren't that many people in the current ecosystem that you care about.

there's certainly an existing universe of people where that visibility is sufficient, it's just very small and niche

I think the #1 main difference is still:

~Band tee~
I can wear it, people see it, people comment on it, I feel cool wearing it

~NFT in my wallet~
hidden away in an infinitely large digital folder where visibility is very low, and I don’t feel cool having it if I never see it / am reminded of it

I don't do concert merch but I'll do the free mints

- I hate waiting in lines
- merch is often super expensive
