Before I came to know him for Manim, 3Blue1Brown, and his calculus explainers on Khan Academy, I once attended Grant Sanderson’s lecture at Stanford SPLASH! as a middle schooler.

He was explaining higher-order dimensions and how if we 3D beings were somehow able to enter the 2D world of PAC-MAN, he would only be able to see 2D slices of us.

No math teacher anyone’s ever had has ever come close to this guy when it comes to making abstract mathematical ideas concrete.

I attended his lecture once before he became famous!

3blue1brown's early vids on neural networks is what got me interested in AI. Truly talented in his ability to break down hard-to-grasp concepts using animations (i believe he creates them via his own proprietary open-source animation software too!)
