Short update for /quilibrium this week as we're grinding through the last milestone for our 2.1 release:

- Released, then unreleased a redesign of the main Q website – lots of feedback and we're taking it in stride
- Completely redesigned hypersync, getting convergence time down significantly

In the background, not yet directly visible shipping:
- Streamlined onboarding for when QConsole is enabled for public
- Quorum mobile release as soon as Apple gives us the green light

- Even faster hypergraph implementation
- Milestone 5 testing is in progress with our hypersync convergence test confirming all nodes reconcile to the same hypergraph state
- Quorum received a few small tweaks and improvements, including support for stickers, sync and public invite link improvements landing over the weekend

[Bill]:  Yeah, there's a lot of similarities in that.  There were a small group of people who saw what personal computing would become.....

 There was a small group and some of them were fairly counterculture....  And it had kind of this great feel that we were in on something.  We're gonna change things.

 Those early machines were so limited in terms of what they could actually do, then as we get discs and we connect them together and the memory size gets to be decent, you know, then the sky's the limit

In 1983, the video game industry fell apart because of the sheer quantity of shit being shoveled to consumers. Most analysts were calling it for the industry, that home gaming would never thrive again. The infamous Atari landfill.

Then a company that made most of their money off of playing cards and gambling decided to pivot their game system play as a broader "entertainment system", reimagining how games and entertainment can be done, with strong quality controls in their developer onboarding and promotion. It worked. Everyone remembers the NES. Few remember the landfill. Crypto has lost its way, but it can be brought back.

The trick is simple: play a different game.
