- require like + recast in frames always

on the last point - tbh engagement farmin isn't on people's fault. I see many fine people casting average things to please the many. That's just how the product is designed atm and that's where the incentives point to

I’ve come to the conclusion zk interaction with frames is going to be crucial. Particularly when payments are added to frames.

If the fid is known before a price is quoted, then it’s actually quite easy to charge more based on activity.

Many ways, but I can check onchain spending habits and adjust accordingly.

The optimistic case:

#1 There’s an inherit scarcity, growth is capped. A feature like mute channel can isolate, as well as strong hosts.

#2 When we get collapsable casts low effort can be auto-collapsed, is one way.

on the FID/OG NFTs, you're right. some people need the $ now, i appreciate that. i believe in farcaster so much that it would be the last thing, not the first, that i sell.

The last 2 I 100% agree with

First 2 kinda comes from a place of comfort/privilege - people got kids and bills 😂 "just 4 figures" to some is circumstance-changing to others

that's totally fair! ofc they can lurk and appreciate the casts by commenting $degen. i have no issue with that. i love that they're having fun! 

i'm not going invest time in engaging with them because i want to build a network of meaningful, high-quality relationships which doesn't seem to be their goal. no shade :)

Some people (majority?) just want to lurk and appreciate the casts and content in their own way, and if X $degen comments are how they do it then I think it’s fair. 

That said, this community might still be small and early enough that you’d expect many of the early adopters to participate more meaningfully?
