if you're building onchain applications with farcaster data, there's no need to go from fid -> address -> network -> balances base builders can now get token balances by simply putting in the fid if you have thoughts on how we should expand farcaster <> onchain development, please reach out 🪐

building the next meaningful upgrade to our indexer service - skip data from lower quality accounts (developer decides quality threshold) - custom schemas to make querying easier (won't be fully arbitrary at this stage but much higher flexibility than before) - custom filters and subsets of data e.g. casts only from a set of channels or users, index only profiles and follows, etc. all indexing is real time -- this means that instead of running hub + your own indexer, you can simply set up Neynar indexer service with the filters and schemas you want and get the data piped to your database; significantly reduces engineering time and database hosting costs we plan to make this available broadly by end of year; if you're interested in beta testing please earlier reach out 🪐 https://warpcast.com/rish/0x1dc1ee78

Lies are horcruxes. Every lie you tell takes a little bit out of you. It’s like a horcrux. It lives on after you’ve moved on. It’s the truth you killed to give birth to this lie. Even if you want it to die, you can’t easily kill it. It’s its own being now, like a horcrux. Destroying it takes as much effort. The more you protect it, the more it demands of you. Only way to kill it is to bring the truth back to life. Everyone has a few horcruxes. It’s okay, that’s who we are. You can tell those who have many from afar. You can also tell those who have none. Preserve your energy to shine brightness, not to protect horcruxes.

Want to make it easier to build agents on farcaster One of the things we noticed is that good agents (e.g. @aethernet ) get tagged in a bunch of lower quality casts (presumably by lower quality bots) Developers can now filter incoming casts based on user scores - available on both API and webhooks If receiving an webhook event to a mention of your agent, you can filter on the user score before responding - scores above 0.95 / 0.96 are generally good; we will continue improving this so send any cases of false positives or negatives to us this is already enabled on all webhook events to use it on API, you can pass in the experimental header in the request uses @openrank as one of several ingredients to generate said score reach out with feedback / questions, enjoy farcaster fridays 🪐
