i'm intentional about spending IRL + URL time w/ people who share similar values. fwiw the below doesn't seem to align with my values: - sell your FID or Farcaster OG NFTs - contribute to convos w/ "$X $degen" replies only - require like + recast in frames always - import engagement farming CT norms change my mind?

Some people (majority?) just want to lurk and appreciate the casts and content in their own way, and if X $degen comments are how they do it then I think it’s fair. That said, this community might still be small and early enough that you’d expect many of the early adopters to participate more meaningfully?

that's totally fair! ofc they can lurk and appreciate the casts by commenting $degen. i have no issue with that. i love that they're having fun! i'm not going invest time in engaging with them because i want to build a network of meaningful, high-quality relationships which doesn't seem to be their goal. no shade :)
