If you’re a sucker for Indian food like me but never seem to nail that restaurant style aroma and rich flavor palette at home, here’s my tip: grind your own spices. It’s absolutely worth it! This is my go-to recipe for garam masala (South Indian style), a versatile spice mix that goes with literally everything. I use it in meat curries, cutlets, fritters, literally whatever I’m cooking. It’s so fragrant and high quality you’ll never want to buy store bought garam masala again. You’ll need: ✔️ Fennel ✔️ Nutmeg ✔️ Anise ✔️ Cinnamon ✔️ Cardamom ✔️ Clove ✔️ Black pepper Just roast everything gently until aromatic, let it cool completely, then grind and store in an airtight jar. It stays fresh for months. The quality of whole spices makes a huge difference here. I get mine from my grandpa’s farm and that’s why this blend tastes so much more flavor packed than anything you’ll find in a packet. Let me know if you try it!

I’m glad we finally have enough women in crypto who are active, vocal and visible so we can start having conversations like this :) But I still agree that whisper networks and buddy systems can’t be the only things protecting women in the space. We need more communities run by women, for women, funded initiatives that create safe spaces and help onboard more women. More educational spaces like Shefi and special scholarships, funds and grants for women are things we should build toward. I was able to build /covenclassics because of a grant. The big problem is that despite having so many prominent female leaders in the space, opportunities for women are still limited. We have a long way to go to make women feel included, welcome, and supported here and to retain good female talent. These steps, along with strong buddy networks, would help a lot.
