What is the best stack for web analytics? I want to know: - Page view - Device - Clicks Is Segment + GA still the easiest without incurring lots of SaaS overhead?

I like posthog. Huge free tier. Multiple products in one.

will throw another posthog in here. if you tune the autoevents even slightly, can go crazy far on the free tier

I tried a bunch last year and settled on pirsch, for its price, its usability, and its easy API

Plausible and PostHog are both good options to check out The former is easier to get up-and-running and is focused on page views The latter is more fully-featured and better for understanding user behavior (product analytics)

What are Amplitude and Mixpanel? Do they have any use? I don't know a lot about this subject ;)

GA is probably cheaper but Segment + Mixpanel is pretty high quality

If you're onchain at all, it's @spindl. Comparable to Web2 stuff like Amplitude/Mixpanel, but with native and seamless support for onchain events.

mixpanel seemed the best. economic costs depend on DAU though... we recently had to move from mixpanel to GA & its been a mess - especially deep funnels getting inaccurately due to sampling issues...
