i have many personas on farcaster and i wish i could present my profile accordingly we have: > designer erica (expert) > dev erica (learning) > onchain erica (professional) > irl erica (wip) > current fixation erica (ephemeral - rn it is home improvement) depending on which hat i'm wearing i also want to see different content and people i follow (which we have with topic clusters from /unofficial ) BUT how can we design that same concept for people viewing our profiles? i'm sure i'm not the only one who has dif personas here (this is what i love about fc is that this is even possible!)

I used to worry about this a lot, so much so that it would prevent me for sharing content. Now I just don't care and cast whatever I do think the list is the right order: competence breeds confidence

Closest thing I analogize to is going down a YouTube recommendation rabbit hole and serendipitously finding a new rabbit hole posted from a channel you don’t frequent.. so you click the channel It represents a bit of a pattern break from chaining recommended videos but still kind of lacking in significance Should be more like exiting Pinterest and opening LinkedIn. Intentional

I think it starts by curating these « personas » and tagging your interactions for each. Can be also used to show you different feeds! This is something we have been thinking a lot about at @mbd as we build tools for people to direct the AI algo training.

I've been toying with a couple ideas that I can't quite put into a cohesive picture yet. One is "Narrow-profiles" which you could choose to present to only those within a specific channel. The other is the flipside, "Broad-profiles", which you present to the public. These could have corresponding "narrowcasts" (already preseny) and "Broad-casts" (pun intended).

Eventually we’ll have a wheel of personality frame… open up the Erica frame and spin as opposed to swipe to the persona of choice and dive in. Channels has been an unlock for this, ai grouping of your casts would be the back end.
