This is v4 of my portfolio site, with the important caveat that it wasn't a portfolio until now 😂 I started making this before I had meaningful work to show, and now I am in that weird but common place where working on your site feels like a waste of time because I have actual work to do I did need a site (even just to have a single place to send new clients), but it had to be straightforward and do a few important things well - follow the Dann Petty checklist (next cast) - stupid simple way to add new work / clients - include terms for working together So far so good

couple months after switching from Notion, there are 2 simple things I'm missing: - in Obsidian, using CMD+A selects the whole note, whereas in Notion it only selected the block / list item - no easy way to reorder list items in Obsidian (another very useful Notion feature)

I've been on a new schedule recently: - 4:30am alarm - gym, shower, first breakfast - first work session done by 9am - second breakfast - pippin.png - most work done by noon Very focused mornings, using pomodoro and not looking at any comms or social So far so good, but noticed it gets hard to stick to pomodoro in the afternoon; so I'll now try having completely a unstructured PM and trust monkey mind to get it done

LLMs need something like dynamic LOD (level of detail) in old videogames Long conversation in GPT are unusable after a while because there's just too much detail, voice transcription and stuff where you don't remember the context anymore The software should generate dynamic summaries as you scroll up, so that you can get the gist and dive back in if necessary Might design what this would look like on an iOS app, actually
