I know some anime shows are set up just to sell me merch (cough Utano Prince-Sama) but I still love it. The music is fire and I swear I’ll see them live one day! My “Onsen at home” bath powder has a QR code on to that takes you to a website that highlights all of the onsen that are featured in the box. I’m pretty proud of myself for keeping up to date on Japanese music. All the songs on my playlists are being played in conbini, restaurants, etc. Usually my music get stuck because my discovery is limited. Farcaster has really upped my music game! My Priority notifications tab is broken within the last 24 hours and it’s very obvious due to my no following anyone experiment. Before I would only see five or six people in that tab when they replied, but now I’m seeing even bot so it’s almost as busy as my mentions tab. Please fix this. I tested by following a few people but almost everyone is showing up there now.

Wow, @darkknightutk brings it again. Demon Slayer has some phenomenal animation. They really highlight it here but wow, I sometimes forget how epic it is. It’s a fun show too! Highly recommended. The plot isn’t super intense: train, search for villain, train some more, but it’s literally beautiful.

Another great example of the /momiji changing in real time. It does make we worry about the planet a little to see this much variation in color. It’s too warm but it should cool off this week and hopefully all the trees will get the memo and change to red! It’s Tuesday in Japan so happy Tree Tuesday!

Achievement unlocked. I got a Japanese phone number. This is a huge deal as a foreigner. And now I can book cool JR “tours” and get limited edition goshuin and other cool items. It’s very hard to get a real number without having a long term visa but I paid a premium to have a third party set it up for me. Hoping this serves me well in Kyoto for special night illumination events. Crosses fingers!
