Consider an Apple Watch. Reduce the bulk.

would be neat if they had a general media player like vlc and the txt messaging could be the interface for a wallet in the backend.

Recommend trying this and assuming you dont have zecond phone recommend old and cheap SE wifi only https://twitter.com/george__mack/status/1588208549351546882?s=46&t=b7tYUONukanUBh83LqKJug

If you can wait it out until later next year the MC02 is launching farcaster://casts/0xc7700dc1c2f5ecba30520418f53c786d1df425743c88ff5f2c91fbeb2eac1fd5/0xc7700dc1c2f5ecba30520418f53c786d1df425743c88ff5f2c91fbeb2eac1fd5

I have a light-phone. I only gave the number to: > my wife > pagerduty (work on-call SaaS) I carry a normal phone during the day & use the light-phone when I log off work. I'm more engaged with my family, but it's kinda silly to pay for 2 phones.

I bought both and never really used them- was more enamored by the idea. It’s much more effective to turn your screen grayscale, setup screen time controls, and edit Home Screen apps in focus mode.

I’ve found that wearing a Apple Watch with cellular is a good mix of “disconnecting” while not forgoing many conveniences

I had the same issue earlier this year. Explored several options, including the Light Phone, and eventually settled on the Punkt MP02 https://www.punkt.ch/en/products/mp02-4g-mobile-phone/

I haven’t tried the Light Phone… I tried Punkt. The service was so unreliable. If you’re only going to do one thing, it needs to be near perfect.

I tried the light phone and found it to be too unusable as a phone phone that I never used it 😑 Would love to have my old Nokia brick back from high school

I got a Hisense A5. It's cheaper and has a better overall physical design imo. https://i.imgur.com/7Z2ve50.png

This is the solution to sometimes wishing you still had a flip phone.
