one huge unlock for synthesizing data is to use: your body, not your mind. instead of following linear thought processes, focus on the “felt sense” of the data you’re synthesizing your body groks what the data is telling you by offering different sensations. once that happens, you use your mind to find and test certain labels to best represent that felt sense. example: you’ve interviewed 5 people about their NFT minting habits. you analyze those interviews by tagging relevant quotations and processes in the call transcripts to synthesize, focus on all the tags to get a “felt sense” of the whole picture, then notice what sensations arise in your body. then try to match each felt sense to an appropriate label that contains the relevant insight. you won’t match it properly the first time, but after testing a few, you’ll find one that resonates, and your body will give you a signal (like relaxing tension) to tell you that you got it. then you move to the next sensation. body <-> mind
