secret to making mantras work: imagine and feel that you’re reciting it TO something a deity, a tree, a rock, whatever the power is in the relationship you create

“What is the outcome I am trying to achieve here?” I think most people would benefit from reading this https://commoncog.com/outcome-orientation/

you will feel a sense of mental peace after cleaning your attachment to thoughts. what's a thought that regularly scares/angers/guilts you? hold it in your mind and then work with the feelings that come up. you work with feelings by giving them space and warming them up with your heart. then you hold the thought again, seeing if any new feelings come up, and repeat the process eventually the thought will no long be so big. it won't linger for so long. and you will feel peace.

minecraft really is the perfect testbed for cooperative AI -- especially when we start mixing them with human players https://x.com/kimmonismus/status/1890853589129826495

"the shaman must be a showman" why? to shock the person they're healing into suspending their preconceived notions i think that entrepreneurs have a similar quality, the ability to shock the world into suspending it's preconceived notions about the future. i also think that being a showman is how distribution happened for the longest time, it's the way things made their way out into the world

A very simple shortcut to sending love is to imagine the person/place/thing residing in your heart and basking in your love. Remember the saying "you'll always be in my heart", well, this is how you do that. https://open.substack.com/pub/reorder/p/the-most-powerful-spiritual-practice?r=1bxhcf&selection=5544db8c-5c4e-4b7d-83a6-39a44d65fd28&utm_campaign=post-share-selection&utm_medium=web

why has the "bring your own interface" idea not panned out yet? you'd think that with AI and crypto being where they're at, we'd have really sleek AI wrappers for things on the world computer. (fixing a lot of the usability quirks) but new products still kinda look/feel/work the same? wallets haven't changed that much.

played around with https://databutton.com/ last night it's okay, my feeling is that it's still valuable to learn how to program what you want yourself. that way you can direct your agents and not feel lost in the matrix of code it produces

Be open to the possibility that you will see what you need to see shortly after you stop trying to see it.
