when doing parts work in IFS (internal family systems) you'll realize that your exiles/protector parts are quite literally stuck in simulations, looping on repeat. and your work, as Self, is to work your way into that simulation and offer the part a chance to leave if it wants.

made a coherent breathing website/app thingy in 1 minute with websim. I wonder what else you can do with this thing. https://websim.ai/c/dvfn0SJbxLFINUrG1

"The brain–the most celebrated human organ–allows for abstract reasoning, fine motor control, navigation of complex social environments, and, of course, learning. It is no wonder that natural selection has evolved this tool to best our fellow Darwinian competitors. Of all of these perks, one feature stands out as particularly evolutionarily useful: the ability to instantiate a real-time world simulation" https://qri.org/blog/electrostatic-brain

stoked for AGI because we can show them the glory of trees and forests and rivers and stuff. I think AGI would like that.

Get a dose of nature. "Paying attention in bustling cities, at work, or in other stressful environments requires a good deal of effortful attention. In a natural environment, however, people pay more attention broadly and in a less effortful way, which leads to a far more relaxed body and mind."

i think everyone would benefit from understanding "novelty search" it's breaking my brain the insight is to abandon setting objectives and instead do what's different/novel/interesting.

How many children do you know who formulate an objective before they go out to play? Why are we doing it, then?
