Channel owners Applies to channels with moderation turned on If we remove the Recent feed and only show owners / moderators a a special Unfiltered feed: 1. Yes please 2. Mixed feelings 3. Don't do it In the case of 2 or 3, citing a specific channel where Recent is good would be helpful.

3 I own /geopolitics I think people value seeing a broader range beyond what gets on Main Moderation tools aren’t semantically good enough to filter cast quality or topic relevance

please remove recent from public consumption and allow show it to moderators in case they want to bump something into main it is a scourge and no one should need to see that bot hellscape

3 There are some channels where moderation is on, but the moderator basically forgot about it. Without a recent tab, those channels would be dead.

i was browsing /powerfeed and the main feed has only a few posts recent is useful since i want to see everything that the channel is about

3. I’m not the owner, but I’m moderating /running I don’t want to like every cast to just let them appear in “main”. Recent has its value for “not highlighted” casts

3 but q is confusing… Avoid top-down imposed echo chambers. I use recent in farcaster to get to know new people I prefer individual tools to mute people. Makes people responsible to curate their feed

Meaning there would only be Main shown? I feel like somethings aren't filtering right at the moment so Recent is currently helpful to have public facing since not everything that should be in Main is ending up there (with automod on -- haven't had time to trouble shoot)

3 gonna be using /spotlight as an activity feed via @spotlightbot. want to be able to elevate interesting activity items, but allow people to see an unfiltered recent activity feed as well

2. Not there yet, but it seems that the recent feed for /weatherxm can be used as a support channel for users to ask questions and give feedback.

I like the recent feed in art channels. I personally would keep it for mine /photographers so we can keep discovering smaller accounts.

3. 'moderated main' is a way of showing announcements/endorsed casts while 'recent' acts as the real main with casts from the community

1 – not much difference between main and recent in a channel like /vip besides the ordering of casts so it's kind of wasted space (⌒_⌒;)
