Today I achieved with my agent - wrote a story. Ok, scrappy story. Fine-tuned the prompt. Now have a creative agent and an editor agent. Editor is too strict so gonna work a bit on it. Also need to give user more output. - finished the story IP registration flow. Block explorer kept showing me nada and debugging let to dead ends - tried to increase the knowledge base but just crashed my computer. Duh, was storing too much temporary output. - realised the IP was registered properly and got excited (was I done? Did I had a mvp) - “fixed” the flow and broke everything 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

What will you bet on? Super simple. Will the price go up or down in the next 5 minutes. Biggest learning so far - backend engineer has build solid documentation to deploy on base (it’s also his bd today. Cancelled on his friends to keep building) - data engineer eyes popped out when he was told he had 3 days to build, not to research. He’s way out of his comfort zone and managing

Nothing to see on my Lock Screen Story behind it: kids decided that lunch should be on that rock. I don’t care. Just stay in shouting distance. Kid#3 proceeds to fall of the rock backward-role style. Kinda cool or scary , depending on your perspective. She was fine. Lucky bastard (not the first time she avoided injury while out on the trail)

What I achieved today - created a gaianode with sci-fi context knowledge - crashed my computer when starting the gaianode - script to register story in story protocol ready. They just launched dev testnet. dm’ed founder as couldn’t find faucet. Got token. Test successful. - didn’t manage to integrate story registration in telegram bot flow. Did pnpm run dev and saw 30 errors. It’s past 11pm and got to get up early to finish kid#4 birthday cake - messed up my guts. Took an hour to fix that - better at knowing when to trust cursor. using cursor != not reading the docs

Switched to my 2012 MacBook Pro which has a free RAM slot I never figured out why it isn’t working while the model is running on my m1. No avg cable to connect to monitor. Unfortunately 2018 mac air isn’t turning on and haven’t figured out why

Achieved - pick a llm model and create a semantic chunking script. But run into token limit. Modified to only take documents whose length < average (short stories). Then hit open ai token limit - create shell for registering story. Fought with cursor to follow @storyprotocol tutorial and then gave up. Doing it the old school way: copy pasting from the docs. But this is all with the @collabland agent kit and had issues with env variables to be recognized. Went to bed (again too late) with an unresolved bug: chain ‘odyssey’ not recognized. Added it to the chainid definition. But something isn’t working. Can’t change it to a number. Maybe there’s a dictionary somewhere that transforms the names into numbers and because ‘odyssey’ is a week or so old they forgot to update it… Also managed to do stuff for the kids.

Watching your analytics but not seeing the impact you know you're making. You know that you are making an impact in your members. You instinctively know that's working, but the gap between effort and measurable results in community building is frustratingly large. So many touch points. So many little actions that over time add up.

Solved yesterday’s hurdle. Issue with collabland token. A new one solved it. Then faced issues with twitter services. Ended up creating a new account. Issues solved (also docs not clear). Now thinking I might not use Twitter at all. Tomorrow gonna face @gaianet and try to train a tiny model (m1 w/ only 8gb). Already found training data via hugging face. rag will come from user input and story protocol If that fails use default model or check out other tools.
