I think I’ve found the strength workout tracking app I was searching for. Evaluated: Fitnotes, RepCount, GymBook, Hevy and Strong My choice: Hevy Good UX. Graphical exercises, custom routines, Apple Watch integration, good stats highlighting the trained parts of the body and icing on the cake: Strava integration with stunning stats:

what's the best app to record strength workout? something like Strava but for strength. ideally I can create my own set own set of workouts, insert the reps an the kg and check when done. it should record the history over time of all workouts ever made.

10k race this morning. Organized once a year by our running team, only for our team members (nearly 100 people) 39:10 Not my best time but I finished 🥉 Not trained specifically for this race, so I’m proud of my negative split progression.

2x4000 (rec 3') + 3x2000 (rec 2') this is the workout I didn't manage to do correctly in October at 4:02/km (last rep I was exhausted). Today I crushed it at avg of 4:01/km. good vibes for the Hometown HM on February 23rd...

2025 goal is to buy this Dumbbell Tree set from Nike (It looks gorgeous). In order to deserve it I have to be consistent in doing strength training at least until summer (so my goal is buy it in September). I've never done strength training in like 25 years (last time was when I was a rower in my 20). I only run now. Being consistent for me will be a big achievement. The mat and some adjustable dumbbells & barbell from Amazon are on the way, same for a bench. Creatine and whey proteines are already here, I plan to start training in a week or so. This cast is to make me accountable for my resolution.

Following my new year resolution I'm trying to integrate strength training to my running routine. I'm using LLMs a lot to research on the topic and create training and supplement integration plans. I'm astonished about how well Claude works! I was used to ChatGPT, but wow, Claude is on another level. so far: Claude >> ChatGPT > Gemini

The new EU regulation MiCA almost killed our startup. We are forced to wind down our B2C business. Only B2B (as a tech provider) is still in place, but we are heavily thinking if is still worth to continue on this road... AMA.

I need your expert advice. I'm an experienced skinny runner and want to build some muscles in the upper body. I already do cardio a lot, I just want to increase some mass in the chest, shoulders and biceps, legs are already in good shape. where do I start? what equipment do I need to buy to train at home (I'm not a gym guy)? dumbbells, mat and bench? are there any useful app that helps creating plans? (I don't know anything about strength training). give me all the advices you have for a complete beginner. many thanks 🙏

My yearly stats. Missed the 2800 km mark because of the food poisoning occurred in December (which also logged my longest break: 6 days) Btw it was my best year ever, so I'm satisfied. LFG for the 2025!
