BMW electric cars outsell Mercedes-Benz and Audi
We have somehow become accustomed to thinking that the largest German brands have given up on electric cars. Let's say Mercedes-Benz is once again investing heavily in the development of internal combustion engines, while Audi is going to discontinue the Q8 e-tron model, which simply does not enjoy the required demand among buyers.
In fact, in the first half of 2024, deliveries of BMW electric vehicles increased by 22%, while those of Mercedes-Benz decreased by a quarter and remained unchanged at Audi.

Well, guys, let me say a few words about my main car - Toyota Carina.
Part 1.
The car is gasoline, engine capacity is 1.5 liters, 105 horsepower. Mileage at the time of purchase - 249,000 km.
What I would like to say, in a nutshell - despite the fact that the car is almost 30 years old (1996), the car is in excellent condition, there are no body problems.
During use (from the beginning of October 2023), it turned out that the car was really looked after, serviced in a timely manner, and new spare parts were installed.
However, the quality of these spare parts left much to be desired.
For example, the brake pads were installed, although new, but the cheapest of the existing compatible options on the market, which led to constant squeaks and whistles when pressing the brake pedal. And so in many components - in the engine, transmission, chassis, brake system.

I saw the news here, I hasten to share it with you guys, it concerns the revival of the 6-series.. And also about the complete abandonment of the XM series of cars xD
Still, the “absolutely new car of the future” was not particularly liked by buyers.
Did they really guess that the exorbitantly high price for this car would not interest anyone?
