These are the new BMWs: the VDX concept debuted live in China

It received a new control supercomputer, which will be installed in all Neue Klasse models

BMW continues to warm up the public by showing concepts of the family models. Thus, at the Shanghai Auto Show, the VDX (Vision Driving Experience) was presented without any disguise - a harbinger of a production sedan and a showcase of the style and technology of the BMW of the future.

Externally, the VDX almost exactly copies the BMW Vision Neue Klasse show car, shown in 2023. It has a lowered glazing line, a large splitter, a "shark nose" front end and a new interpretation of the "nostrils" with a three-dimensional light signature - here they only imitate the signature radiator grille.

The first Neue Klasse electric car will go into production this year. In 2026, the “commercial” version will appear in the Vision Neue Klasse sedan, and then in its “charged” version VDX.
