BMW to End M8 Coupe Production in the U.S.

According to information that emerged in December 2024, BMW plans to end production of the M8 Coupe for the U.S. market from early 2025. Orders for the 2025 model year are no longer being accepted, and there is no plan to produce a 2026 version. The M8 Coupe was first introduced in 2019, but the reasons for its discontinuation have not been officially disclosed. Other versions, such as the M8 Convertible and M8 Gran Coupe, will remain available to buyers. In addition, BMW plans to introduce an electric version of the M3 called the iM3, equipped with four electric motors and shift simulation technology for improved driver feedback. In addition to the M8 Coupe, the X3M and X4 will also be gradually phased out.
