All BMW Skytops with the “most powerful V8 engine” are already sold out, the car was tested at the Nurburgring

The car, which will be released in a limited edition of only 50 units, is equipped with a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine producing 625 hp. According to the performance data, this is the “sunniest V8 engine”. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes just 3.3 seconds, and the engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The design of the Skytop is inspired by the BMW 507 Roadster and Z8 models: the two-door coupe is distinguished by clear body lines, ultra-thin headlights, a glowing radiator grille and narrow Blade taillights. The interior is designed in a retro style with an emphasis on luxury: the interior is made using red-brown leather, the iDrive system retains the classic design. 

The BMW Skytop, priced at around $500,000, will be delivered to owners by the end of 2025.
