New BMW X5 (G65) Caught on Snowy Roads in Scandinavia German BMW continues fine-tuning tests of the new generation of the X5 (G65) crossover, which is promised to premiere by the summer of 2026. Serial production of the car will be established at the company's plant in Spartanburg, USA. Recently, a test prototype of the new product was spotted during testing on snowy roads in Scandinavia. Through the camouflage of the car, design solutions that were recently presented by the Bavarian automaker in its Vision Neue Klasse X concept car are visible. But despite the external similarities with this show car, the new X5 should retain the current CLAR platform. The technical characteristics of the car are still a secret. Rumors are that the car will be offered in 50e XDrive, 40 xDrive and 40d xDrive versions, with the iX5 variant being joined by a plug-in hybrid. The X5 M will likely retain the current twin-turbo V8, producing more than 600 horsepower.
