I definitely need a pre workout meal preferably at least an hour before or else I’ll just feel weak in the gym… I always strive for my strongest self in the gym and I can’t push myself as hard on an empty stomach.

Depends on what muscles! And I have read some new study (don’t exactly remember which one) that suggests that that the eccentric time doesn’t impact much as we thought, as long as you’re controlling the weight down you will get the same results..

This is true! Don’t ignore 1 & 3 people, if this happens you have to be careful not to injure yourself further. Lower back injuries can be very annoying to recover from.

Creatine (works for 80% of the people, not everyone) and magnesium supplements. However I would suggest eating food that is high in those because actual nutrition is better than supplementing it.

Legday (yesterday) Started of with regular squats because I felt like it. 3 sets squats , 5-8 reps(2 RIR - Failure) 2 sets leg extensions, 6-10 reps (1 RIR) 2 sets hamstring curl, 8-10 reps (1 RIR) Ended the session with calves since we didn’t have much time left for shoulders. The day after my legs cooked.

I do not know how long you’ve been training but isn’t 4 weeks a little short for each goal? If you’re a beginner I suppose it’s fine

Almost always do the same workout but just slightly different variations depending on who I’m with or where I’m at. Consistency is key, this way I can track my progress way easier and my muscles aren’t destroyed from doing unusual exercises
