When I was 30, my youngest brother passed away unexpectedly. 

The experience resulted in an entirely different set of priorities emerging.

That, combined with the blur that was COVID, has made the last five years subjectively feel 2-3x as fast as 25-30 did.

What was most different about 30-35 vs. 25-30 and how long did they feel subjectively as 5 year periods of life

(1) Higher risks today. 

(2) My usage is definitely higher now. 

E.g., I’d “rent” a laptop from school or go to the computer lab. Nokia flip phone. Myspace and AIM “social“ accessible via desktop.

So no always on digital culture but I didnt feel like any tech was missing.
