Had an accident while trying to avoid hitting 3 kids on a bike. I fucking hate the parents who give their kids vehicles at such an early age. I won't be able to walk for a while because of these parents. Things have been pretty bad for my family lately. I am so frustrated.

To add to this( and the article by @luc). Clanker hasn't yet attracted many new users. My reasoning for this was the following- "There is no direct incentive for using farcaster in order to benefit from clanker. You can buy a token without having a fc acoount. Meanwhile DEGEN and frames both required direct participation in Farcaster in order to greatly benefit. Clanker must provide some sort of direct benefit of using farcaster in order to attract users." IMO, These recent payouts should turn some eyeballs becuase they provide a direct incentive for using FC. I believe these payouts should be prioperly marketed.

I called it back when threads first came out that it would do just fine. Seems to be the case. In hindsight, Farcaster's biggest fumble was not believing that it had a fighting chance against twitter. Seems like the stance has changed now and imo it's still very possible to win. I am still not on threads tho lmao, I hate insta. I really want FC to win.

Interesting that clanker hasn't led to a significant increase in new users on FC. only 14.2k of the buying addresses are connected to 13.8k farcaster FIDs. It MAY be the case that farcaster is a gateway to base but base isn't as much of a gateway to farcaster?
