do you see technology now as less of a risk than 20 years ago, vice versa, or do you feel that your usage has changed disproportionately either way?

(1) Higher risks today. 

(2) My usage is definitely higher now. 

E.g., I’d “rent” a laptop from school or go to the computer lab. Nokia flip phone. Myspace and AIM “social“ accessible via desktop.

So no always on digital culture but I didnt feel like any tech was missing.
