Book recs: In Ascension, sci-fi. Main character is a Dutch female marine biologist. Catchlights by Niamh Prior. Fiction. Alice by Christine Henry. Kinda horror, but good. Kid#3 (10) read it The lying life of adults. Fiction. Main character is an Italian teen girl. About how adults suck and growing up Borderlines by Peter Høeg. Getting rid of evil through school reformation. Also side story about what time means. Night circus. Fiction. About a magical circus, reality, magic and love If you speak German: Ein chinese mit dem Kontrabas. Life story of a Chinese man who had to flea Berlin as a little kid in 1933 and spends the rest of his life trying to go back home.
