how long is your average shower? someone just told me that my average shower (not-post cold surf shower where i scald myself with hot water until i can move my fingers again) may be weirdly short at... 5 - 6 minutes.

15-20 minutes. I find it difficult to take a short shower, but 10 min would be a short one for me.

If you grew up in drought areas, anywhere longer than 3-5 min feels self-indulgent. I used to turn the water off to soap up.

totally depends on my tasks for that shower am i fully washing my hair? am i shaving? am i exfoliating? am i having a good morning and listening to good tunes? anywhere from a 90sec rinse to a 10min shower is my range or a 90min bath lol

Ok yeah cuz I have the opposite confusion of how people take longer. Like are you even optimizing your shower time. And the idea that I’m not clean? Like that’s me taking the time to be extra clean. Are you moving in slow motion. I refuse to be the weird one. This is a validating cast, thank you.

Nah with you! Prob average 5 mins unless doing the full shebang (hair mask, shaving legs, etc), in which case prob looking at 10 max.
