Loved Dune 2, but I felt sad that it rushed through so much material. I wish it had been two long movies instead of one. I could have happily spent a whole movie just in the desert with the Fremen.

Some days I question what I’m even doing in this space. I believe that the tech itself is neutral. But turns out the only real well proven use case is speculation, the capital is excessive venture funding, and the core demographic is mid 20s male libertarians. What keeps you going? Wanted and expected to love The Killer given its cast (Michael Fassbender, Tilda Swinton) director (David Fincher), but was disappointed and bored. I went looking for reviews that would help me understand my reaction. The best summary was "Oh, it's actually just content." Just ultimately an empty, forgettable movie.
