Hey BMC, how about mandating wheel washers at major construction sites? Cleaner roads means less dust and fresher air in Mumbai!

I'm looking for our fist marketing hire. Experience optional. Only requirement is hustle. ‼️💥 Day in the life: - You move to SF - We work side by side (my hours are ~7am - 7pm) - We send Agora’s growth through the roof 📈 It's gonna be a ton of fun but also very intense. DM me if this is your cup of tea!

I wonder if there should be an optional "Sent from x" component on casts so that you get a small visual indicator that a cast came from a particular client. It could be an icon. That would be great for client discovery.

merkle hiring like wild because they realize they may be a minority farcaster client by EOY, which means losing control over the farcaster protocol kinda bullish - formidable client competition will push things forward

The attached video shows RFK Jr. dropping a ton of methylene blue into his water. Methylene blue is a popular supplement among the anti-establishment health crowd for a variety of reasons that would take a full blog post to get into. It won't kill you if you take it and for the most part seems fairly benign; although the dose makes the poison, and I have seen some say they do not recommend long term continued/daily use. The craziest part of this video is that RFK was dumping so much methylene blue in his water it even made the methylene blue stans say "whoa".

1/ I have a nuanced take on tariffs, as someone who actually imports/exports and has manufacturers in the U.S. and Canada for /humankind. Originally when Trump was elected a lot of my manufacturing friends thought that he would get rid of the “de minimis” (which the media is referring to a loophole or subsidy). The de minimis rule outlined in the USMCA dictates that goods imported under $800 are not subject to tariffs. That means that Americans buying almost anywhere outside of the U.S. for goods under $800 are not subject to paying state taxes, because they’re paying for goods (incl. tax) to other countries. This gave a lot of room for Chinese manufacturers like SHEIN and Temu to dominate the market for fast fashion and home goods. However, me and my friends thought that he would get rid of the de minimis for *just China. It is unusual that he started with Canada and Mexico.

It is pretty clear that Bitcoin as a blockchain is a colossal waste of energy. As BTC custody continues centralizing to a few ETFs, CEXs, institutions, in the long term >50% of BTC will be held by a handful of organisations Might as well just cancel PoW and move to PoA at that point. It would actually be *more decentralized* as PoW will inevitably centralize over to a handful of industrial players and pools due to crippling economies of scale. Plus, it'll solve the security budget problem. As before, the full nodes will be there as the last line of defence irrespective The only thing matters for BTC is it remains a speculative store-of-value, doesn't matter the mechanism to achieve that https://x.com/i/trending/1885868663116296256

Startup Idea: Farcaster Payouts US companies want to make onchain payments but need to meet compliance requirements. We do our grants through Github because doing the 1099's ourself is a pain. - Take a list of fids and payment input onchain - Make payouts to fids and issue 1099s (use stripe connect payouts)
