on the way to london for /farcasterfridays i spent the journey studying and doing assessments for an online personal training course I’m currently taking and i wouldn’t be doing any of this if i didn’t download warpcast a few months ago i’m stepping out of my comfort zone and feeling grateful!

i’m now banned from walmart so i’m back in the garden 🤣 low impact, high energy! today’s warpcast workout has NO jumping/ squats but you’ll still feel the burn! 💥 low impact cardio 💥 1. high knee step backs 2. modified pushups 3. mountain marches 4. side step with arm raise 5. straight arm circles 30 seconds each 2/3 rounds with a 2 minute break in-between! make exercises 1,4 and 5 harder by adding dumbbells! as always let me know how you find it and if you have any questions/feedback! 🎵 Wicked - Juls

do you stretch after working out? here are some of my fave post workout stretches give these a try after gym or a run hold each one for 20/30 seconds each 1. forward bend 2. kneeling lunge 3. butterfly stretch 4. hurdle stretch - lean forward + side 5. figure 4 stretch 6. yogi stretch have a restful sunday! 😌

31st Aug 2014 exactly 10 years ago today i learned to believe in myself i was fast in school but i had never considered pursuing athletics as a career however my PE teacher persuaded me so i reluctantly joined a club i started competing in the sprints but it was too nerve-racking for me i just simply wasn't fast enough and when it came to national championships i hated the crushing feeling of losing i noticed that although britain were super strong at sprints and multi events there wasn't any female triple jumpers coming through the ranks there was a huge gap so i took a huge risk the next year i decided to change events and i set a goal to break the british youth record and after some months of grinding on this day 10 years ago i achieved that goal in one season i improved my triple jump best from 9.88m to 12.61m (32.41 feet to 41.37 feet) and the rest was history !! tldr - find a gap where your skills can fit, grind at it and set yourself up to win

try these exercises before your next run or big session today’s warpcast workout is a 💥 glute activation 💥 it's crazy the difference that activating your glutes can make especially if you struggle with knee pain! exercises 1. around the clock 2 x 6 taps each side 2. donkey kicks 2 x 10 3. fire hydrant 2 x 10 each side 4. banded glute bridge 2 x 10 5. frog pumps 2 x 10 don't rush it and keep the movements controlled, also i'll be honest i need to do this more as i found it quite challenging 🙈 🎵 Sunday Smackdown - George Matsuo as always let me know how you find it and if you have any questions! how are you going to move your body today?

story time ever wondered what happens if the wrong national anthem is played during a medal ceremony? well... in 2017 i made my first international podium at the european junior championships we were all so excited to get our medals and it was all going well until the winner slowly walked off the podium halfway through they were playing the wrong anthem she is from belarus and they played the anthem for bosnia and herzegovina so 2nd place and i just stood there like 🧍🏾‍♀️ until the song ended then we just...left i thought no one would ever see this moment but the video lives on with 37 million views lol i'll put the link in replies for your viewing pleasure
