As for hydration during workout, is it enough to just drink water or is Gatorade a better option?

To hydrate use water. If you need energy, use gels or bars.

40,000 Volts electrolyte concentrate is a solid move. Just add a teaspoon to water. I’d avoid overly surgery sports drinks in general

Ill just drop you this article as to why the LACK of sugar in prime drinks isn’t exactly the best for you during a workout. (Not to mention its extremely high caffeine levels and how its marketing is geared more towards kids) https://us.gymfluencers.com/is-gatorade-better-than-prime-we-found-out/

LMNT - sodium, potassium and magnesium. If sweating a lot, this is the way. Noticeable difference

Gatorade (in America at least) is full of high-fructose corn syrup. Not a great option given the amount of petrochemicals used to make it water by itself tends to lack minerals/ electrolytes (will save you the rant about the depletion of groundwater aquifers) adding celtic sea salt makes water proper hydrating

Don’t overthink it. Unless you’re an elite level athlete, focus on the basics before optimizing, water is enough

Water, but pending on the rest of your diet and how hard your workouts are you could benefit from an electrolyte, I do LMNT, but that’s due to my diet.

It entirely depends on the workout. Unless you are burning through all your carbs via max effort or sustained effort, you don’t need to replenish. Your body can do 90-120 minutes of work at a moderately elevated heart rate before needing to refuel. Only extreme/extended workouts need carbs/electrolytes.

no gatorade, buy like LMNT electrolyte lackets or something, gatorade has crazy amounts of sugar

Our favorite is LMNT - We put a pack in a large water bottle every day during our workouts!

water+ a little bit of pink himalayan salt is the best hydration drink you can get. everything else is toxic and/or garbage

Just water. You need to balance your food before and after the workout to have enough energy to make it.

Water is definitely enough. I actually take a pinch of salt before working out. It increases electrolytes, blood flow, and improves the pump!
