As for hydration during workout, is it enough to just drink water or is Gatorade a better option?

Gatorade (in America at least) is full of high-fructose corn syrup. Not a great option given the amount of petrochemicals used to make it water by itself tends to lack minerals/ electrolytes (will save you the rant about the depletion of groundwater aquifers) adding celtic sea salt makes water proper hydrating
