I like them tart. Ginger Gold’s are great.  

I’m too far south for them on the Southcoast of Massachusetts, but when in Maine it would be a Cox Orange Pippin.

Ripe honeycrisp is effectively
impossible to beat, but growing up I’d pick Yellow Delicious the size of my head at a place called Snipe’s in Pennsylvania.

Gala is my fave, so crisp and juicy 💓 Only seen it in the supermarket though, and fall is the season for all the garden apples that their owners will give you for free (usually in large quantities) 😅
