Is the pain around your knee or inside of your knee? If itβs at the top and/or bottom of your knee then maybe you need to strengthen quadsβ try leg extensionsβ and work on hip flexor flexibility.

I think Knees Over Toes training would do wonders for you⦠the most basic exercise is backwards walking. Since walking/running downhill is the issue, reverse that motion to strengthen the muscles that are weak. Put a treadmill on full incline, speed 2-3, and walk backwards. Best if you can get to doing w/ no hands.

It depends of your pain. What I can suggest you is that as soon as you are healed, you should start working to strengthen your hamstrings. A strong hamstring helps you to not have knee pains. I had knee problems because of jiu jitsu, since I focused on my hamstrings Iβve never had any other issues

Knees Over Toes Guy. He's the best. Just try all his recommended exercises until you find the one that makes the biggest difference.
