Well OK now you're saying why I hate it. One of the most obvious failures of a democracy is the constituency needs to vote to steal money from themselves to fund government projects. This has been known since Hamilton and the Whiskey rebellion where its a game of stealing from whoever has money.

So uh... Now instead of the federal government doing it, states can do it in the form of getting people to buy this credit money, and on the back end the states get yield.

My original reason for getting into this space was banks basically did this, then were mandated to take loans on deposits too, so they got all this yield paying themselves huge bonuses while deposits got zero. I can't congratulate democratizing this serfdom so now *my* state can do it.
