Once the memecoin bubble pops, the next wave will be engage-to-earn social apps on Solana. Users will rebuild their portfolios for free by trading their attention for mini airdrops. Confidence will slowly return, and everyday Phantom users’ RTP will rebalance. Verticalized memecoin apps on mobile where the UX will be made to protect these users: early presales to reduce potential losses, generous airdrops for top users, etc. Early examples include Yapster, Clout, TopFun (top.fun/alex), our future app 10K.WORLD.

There could be a shift toward quality and utility in crypto someday, but I’m starting to doubt it’ll happen anytime soon. Regulation-wise, the industry is in the best position it’s ever been. But culturally? It feels like the soul of the space has hit rock bottom. I don’t know how things turn around from here, but it’s pretty disheartening. Let’s hope for the best.

i spoke to my grandma, my 外婆, last night for the first time since grandpa passed - i'm ngl my first thought when we got the news was concern for her - it feels like an unfathomable transition to lose someone you've woken up next to every day for 60+ years. she told me that after crying her eyes out for days and feeling hopeless, she realized she still had so much to live for - 3 children, 5 grandchildren, her faith - and that despite her age / declining health she was going to "跳出来", which directly translates to something like "jump out". i'm interpreting it as "get back up and live life". we thought she was too frail to embark on int'l travel but not only does she want to come back to the US, she even wants to visit me and @briang in nyc for the first time -- from china!!! i was blown away, that's a full 24 hr travel day that i barely feel like i could do anymore, and the woman is 89 !!!!!!! it's honestly crazy to see that kind of mental and physical resilience in these moments. <3

A super easy dinner idea: spicy chicken sausage, garlic lemon sautéed kale, and mashed potatoes Condensed recipe below :) 1. Remove sausage from its casing and cook on medium high heat with a little olive oil until crispy. 2. Slice kale thinly and sauté with olive oil and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Be careful not to overcook. Remove from heat and add a drizzle of lemon. 3. Boil potatoes until they can be easily pierced with a fork and drain. Mash and add warm whole milk, butter, and salt and pepper to taste. Fresh herbs would be a fun addition as well :)
