The worst part of being a founder is repeating the same things over and over again to people.

It really feels like the only way to materialise what the founders have in them. A bit like the “practice makes perfect” saying, where perfect means fit to both market and founders’ internals. One tricky part, though, is that there is still co-evolution. Founders’ repeats must be adaptive too, at least in message delivery.

But this is so important. I'm finally learning sales, and it's so very different from code. You have to repeat the same thing like 10 times in slightly different ways before the parser "gets it".

as an engineer, this repetition game has been puzzling to me for many years. I think I’m getting better at it. Repeating, reframing, rephrasing is a skill. What did you find useful?

Normalize sending videos and documents to people and telling them to RTFM.
