alright episode 2 of white lotus S3 not as strong as episode 1. started off slow and did pick up a bit, but not enough to have me hungry for the next one. missing a crazy hotel manager like S1 and S2. southern family still my favorite plot line but the older brother has no nuance, just cringe.

Finally watched dune 2. A lot of meanings have been changed, still fun but not the same. Unrelated, the bad guys are so boring anymore. They are distorted to the point of being. unrecognizable IRL, save for the imaginations of some overly dramatic individuals.

I once had to evacuate my family home in the middle of the night due to a wildfire when I was a kid. Firefighters had come to rescue us at the end of a cul-de-sac as the fire was closing in from all directions. Lifelong memory etched into my brain. I weep for all our LA friends here
